Star :a natural luminous body visible in the sky especially at night

Matthew 2:1Now, after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 

2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born king of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and have come to worship him.

Likewise as wise men of God we have to come into relationship with God and Worship him.

Yes we worship God in a church service. However we also worship God to show reverence and respect in everything we do. We are to obey God and his word.

Matthew 2:9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. 

The Star guided the wise men in their Journey to come into the presence of Jesus and worship him. But they had to follow the star by faith to get to their destination.

I think about the Holy spirit guiding us. The Holy Spirit leads us into true holiness.

Romans  8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

The Holy Spirit leads and directs away away from following the way of a sinful lifestyle and gives us power to be led into true holiness. But we have to allow God to have is way in our lives

Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

So believers are to be separated from worldliness and sin and be dedicated to God. We can prayer and sometimes fast with prayer. And apply the Word of God to our lives. And we put our trust in the bright and morning star Jesus to lead us into true holiness. Revelation 22:16.

PSALM 119:105 Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. WBT

God’s word is a light to guide us through trials, challenges, to inspire us to right behaviour. To lead us into truth away from error in a dark evil world.

Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Webster's Bible Translation

The way we behave behave in the world impacts our witness and when we live right for God then it shows God' grace is working us.  Matthew 5:16.
